At Le Rocher de la Cave, you can chose to rent camping pitches or accomodations (mobil-home, wood cabane, furnished tent) for your holidays. The campsite has a heated pool with aquasplash, direct access to la Dordogne, bar-restaurant, sports fields (city stadium, skate park, table tennis, beach volleyball, fitness, petanque), a playground and trampolines. Activities are organized several times a week throughout the summer. On site, you can also rent canoes and kayaks. The village of Carsac-... Aillac with all the essential shops is only 15 minutes away; a weekly market is organized there every Sunday morning throughout the summer season. We are close to tourist sites and beautiful villages to visit. The cycling road is only 800m away and will take you to Sarlat or Souillac.

friendly helpful staff, clean and well kept site. the staff we're very helpful, when my wife asked for another cooking pot, although she could not speak French, she mimed with the help of a small pot.
a bit more entertainment at the bar, the only entertainment was the Monday evening Mules & Frites followed by the music band later.

We stayed in a Sahari tent and it was perfect - had everything we needed for a short stay. Campsite facilities are excellent.
I wasn't sure what sort of bedding, if any, was provided and glad we bought our own.

position of campsite was fantastic , on banks of Dordogne river. We were able to have campfires on the beach and there was a great party/rock concert held on Monday nights, really fun for the whole family
We found there was often a queue for the toilets and sometimes no toilet paper or soap to wash hands.

We really enjoyed our stay. The facilities at the site were excellent and the cleanliness of the facilities was excellent. The location of our pitch was perfect.
As this a family site, there should be consideration to having a curfew at least by 23:30. The two nights when there was a band playing at the restaurant, although very good should in my opinion finish at or close to 23:00. There were issues with loud talking from a couple of pitches past 01:30 in the morning, but this was not the norm in our experience.

Het weer, de sfeer, de rivier (en de schaduw bij de rivier), de kampeerplek, de omgeving, de plaats van het restaurant, prima eten.
Sommige douches misten een extra haakje en een iets groter plankje zou fijn zijn, maar er waren ook douches met wastafel, die zijn erg fijn. En misschien een plekje aanwijzen waar de wat oudere jeugd zonder overlast kan zitten.

Fantastische camping. Vriendelijk personeel, mooie ruime schaduwrijke plaatsen. Rivier, zwembad em rivier op loopafstand. Ons zoontje van vier had direct aansluiting met andere kindjes. Gezellige bar met livemuziek, terras en lekker pizza's. Wij komen zeker terug.

Heerlijke gemoedelijke camping! Wij waren nu in het hoogseizoen dus camping heel vol maar geen enkele last van. Iedereen is vriendelijk en aardig. Je merkt dat er veel mensen zijn die steeds terug komen. Het zwembad is niet al te groot maar je hebt de rivier. Die is geweldig. Schoon en helder zwemwater! Ruime kampeerplekken. Wij huren zelf houten tent, een aanrader! Geen laantjes waar alleen maar mobilhomes staan, alles staat door elkaar. Dat maakt het juist zo leuk! Gezellig en leuk restaurant!
Het enige nadeel is dat op het veld naast de camping 's avonds de hangjongeren bij elkaar komen. De ene avond valt dat reuze mee maar andere avonden wel erg veel lawaai en geschreeuw tot een uur of 2. Wij hebben ons er niet druk om gemaakt maar kan mij wel voorstellen dat anderen dat misschien wel doen.
