The establishment
We had a wonderful time at this campground. Even being in peak season it didnt feel overly busy. Our children quickly made friends and were riding their bikes around the campground together. Having the playground at the restaurant was also great so we could relax whilst the children played. The restaurant do a delicious pizza Flammkuchen style. Large trees provided lots of shade for our spot. We were overall very happy and would definitively return.
The bathrooms could do with an upgrade.

Swimming in the river and jumping from the waterfall, the great and value for money camping restaurant and the nice chalet accomodation all made our stay worth it
The wifi seemed quite overburdened, had to use my phone hot spot to do even the lightest stuff like receive and send emails

Mooie streek, rust, kleinschalige familiaire camping, goeie prijs. Mooie zwemgelegenheid. Mooi huisje, vriendelijke uitbaters, behulpzaam en begaan met de klanten. Heerlijke pizza’s en frietjes.
Airco in de huisjes zou geen luxe zijn. Cafetaria upgrade van de kaart, tapas, cocktails aanbod zou fijn zijn.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Mooie omgeving, lekker zwemmen in de rivier. Op de camping moet je er vooral zelf wat van maken en dat vinden wij prima. Iedere dag vers brood even een dag ervoor bestellen en het ligt voor je klaar. Af en toe een avond met een muziekband of karaoke maar er is niet iedere avond wat te doen. Ook dat vinden wij prima.
Wij vonden het het erg jammer dat het restaurant maar beperkt open was. Met name overdag kun je niet even een kopje koffie drinken op het terras. Pas na 15 uur gaat het open en de keuken nog later. Dus een hapje eten in de middag kon helaas niet.

Stacaravan was klein maar prima te doen. Met het mooie weer niet binnen gezeten maar buiten op de veranda wat een pluspunt is bij de stacaravan.
We vonden het jammer dat er geen airco in zat.

We hebben het goed gehad. De ligging aan de rivier is leuk en prettig. Eigenaresse en personeel is aardig.
Het sanitair is zwaar verouderd en niet efficiënt. We hoeven geen moderne camping, maar haakjes om je spullen op te hangen zou prettig zijn. We hadden geen warm water bij het afwassen en de douche was ook niet heel warm (hoewel dat niet heel erg is met heet weer). Zelf instellen of je warmer of kouder water wilt, zou fijn zijn. Je moet zelf je wc-papier en zeep meenemen voor toiletbezoek. Niet erg, wel handig om te weten. Wel was alles schoon.

We hadden een mooie plek aan de rivier met veel schaduw. De camping heeft sowieso veel schaduw. De plekken zijn ruim.
In ons hoekje stond iedereen wat met de rug naar elkaar toe. Wij vonden dat jammer. Er werd weinig contact gemaakt, maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijk.

Gemoedelijke camping, leuke sfeer. Heerlijk zwemmen in de rivier en mooie uitstapjes gemaakt in de omgeving. Onze puber (15) heeft zich ook uitstekend vermaakt met leeftijdsgenoten. ‘s avonds lekker chillen achter het restaurant waar de rest van de camping dan geen last van heeft.
De wifi kan beter.

Bitte wieder einen Kühlschrank mit Eisfach! Bei 36 Grad Außentemperatur braucht man Eiwürfel oder Speiseeis griffbereit ;)
