During cleaning times, all toilets/showers are out of use, so the possibility of alternating would be helpful as there is only one block.

We had a camper van pitch, very close to electricity and facilities, our dog loved the calm environment.
The wifi could be patchy, so some boosters would be great!

The establishment
The owners were welcoming, and also spoke excellent English. The pitches were large and all quite different from each other, with various different types of fruit trees around,which made a lovley setting, the perimeter trees were well established ànd gave good shade and protection from wind. The showers,toilets, and wash up areas were quite basic, but nevertheless were clean. There are plenty of hire bikes, which were in good condition and cheap. Overall a great site.
Enclose the showers a bit more to exclude the wind from blowing through, and increase the hot water temperature.

We had a warm welcome, a great pitch and although we could hear the dogs in the kennels nearby, it did not spoil our stay. The facilities were adequate and we never queued for more than a few minutes. It was great to have fresh bread and pastries available for breakfast. The on-site bar and visiting food trucks were great too.In summary, a great campsite near to La Rochelle which we have no hesitation in recommending to others looking for a no frills and well maintained campsite.
A shared tap with drinking water, not too far from each pitch, would be very useful.

We enjoyed our stay at Camping Le Verger although we did have a couple of issues. Firstly we couldn't get our tent on the pitch we had been allocated. Secondly the camp was busy and there wasn't enough toilets and/or showers for the number of campers so at peak times there were always queues for these.
Provide more showers and toilets. At busy times the toilets and showers need cleaning frequently rather than just once per day. Shutting all showers/toilets/washing facilities for 3 hours a day between 12 and 3pm was frustrating. The water for washing dishes was also just luke warm so difficult to clean pots/pans etc. The only facility to fill up with drinking water was at the washing up facility, drinking water taps need to be put in around the camp.

Camp was quiet, no car movement after 10pm. Good local shopping and easy access to La Rochelle. Staff were very nice and helpful.
Closing all the toilet and shower facilities between 12 and 3pm for cleaning. The choice of food on the food vans was mediocre.

This place is just lovely. Staff are all fantastic and the facilities are very good indeed. I love the fact they have a food van arrive each evening and you get to try that if you wish. We had mussels and oysters and they were better than the restaurant we tried them in the week before. All the pitches are in good positions and plenty of trees for shade. Easy to find and good access to La Rochelle and the surrounding areas. Great supermarket (Super U) about 5 mins away in the car. Great for couples and families. Nice and quiet at night.
