The Les Breuils campsite is in Verdun in Meuse. It offers tent and caravan pitches or the rental of mobile homes in 5.5 hectares of lush greenery on the shores of a lake. Peace, excellent amenities and a real taste of Lorraine are part of everyday life on this 3-star campsite with its modern, well-maintained and carefully tended amenities. The campsite has 162 spacious pitches marked out with hedges and trees for tents, camper vans or caravans. There are also almost new fully-equipped 2 and 3... -bed mobile homes available for rent. For recreation, there is a swimming pool with overflow, paddling pool and water slides – fun for all ages! There is also a sports complex, kids’ playground, boules pitch and beach-volley court. And, of course, the lake is very popular with anglers. All the services you need for that perfect holiday are on site – bar-grillroom, grocery, laundry, phone box, Internet terminal etc. And there’s more – the hire of mountain and all-terrain bikes! Shame that the best pitches seem to be reserved for “ non- ACSI” clients.

I have stayed at this campsite many times over the years and always return. It’s very comfortable campsite with a perfect balance of shade and sun. I enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and have always been impressed by the professional, courteous and helpful staff. No problem is too big. The bar, shop and restaurant are well located next to reception. The showers and washrooms are cleaned every day. The swimming pool is clean, safe and ideal for adults and children. I would highly recommend this campsite

Friendly staff, very welcoming. I liked our pitch but the ones by the lakeside looked gorgeous! There is a small café and bar on site which served decent food on the days I couldn't be bothered cooking!
Not enough toilets for the size of the camp, one set was unisex, the other females only - apparently they were not as modern as the former. On the other hand they were cleaned very regularly.

The pitches are a very generous size which is great. The site is very well organised from booking in and ordering bread etc.
The facilities do need a revamp. Basic things like soap in the toilets. The water area needs replacing. Broken and collapsed washing up sinks down the far end of site is dangerous for children playing.
