The establishment
The site was close to supermarkets, the beautiful town and beach at Valras and easy distance to other other places of interest. We really enjoyed visiting other towns and nature reserves to see the flamingos It had good security and amenities. Very helpful reception staff when needed. A wide range of entertainment well displayed and advertised
Our stay was near the end of the season and the campsite hedges etc we’re in need of a tidy trim The pool was in need of renovation, wooden bridges and pool ladders a bit unstable and it got crowded so I would not like to be here high season. Our chalet was near the road and it was noisy.. some soundproofing fencing would be helpful.

Our initial chalet was changed due to Ants nesting in the ceiling. Our second chalet was clean and comfortable but unexpectedly had a king size bed so our bedding did not fully fit! It was well equipped with good china glasses and cutlery. The shower was excellent, the best we have had while camping! A comfortable stay and a very enjoyable holiday. We enjoyed the site but feel it may be too crowded for us in high season
When booking there was no site map available and some of the chalet areas had car parking away from the chalet which we are not used to and would not choose. Our allocated chalet was like that and we discovered an ants nest in the ceiling light in the main bedroom. Not good! But the reception changed our pitch and we were able to have a chalet with on site parking, very good service. It had an electric hob but no kettle so any hot water needed for tea or coffee or took ages in a saucepan.Some of the security locks on the windows were damaged so we had to keep the windows closed.

The establishment
The camping was good, clean, with options for most things required in a vacation. There were not too many things available in the camping kiosk but there are supermarkets at 2 minutes drive - 10 min walk (no sidewalk though...). But the best thing in the camping was the entertainment: the team (Marco & colleagues) was supper funny and engaging, the kids loved them, it was difficult to make them leave the camping for a beach afternoon or for visiting as they didn't want to miss the shows and activities.
Very few places by the pool - if not there at the opening then no sunbed -not even some chairs.

We love this area of France and this is our second trip to Mas des Lavandes as it is a very clean, modern site close to beach and amenities with an excellent swimming complex and fantastic accommodation

Our caravan was modern, well laid out and very comfortable. The decking area was exceptional with mature shady trees which helped in the heat.

une piste cyclable jusqu'au Valras plage la semi-fermeture / accès que pour riverains de la petite route devant le camping et qui donne acces au camping et qui mène au Carrefour .... bcp de voitures prennent cette route... et roulent assez vite.

Prachtige Prestige stacaravan met geweldige houten veranda. Veel sportmogelijkheden zoals padel, beachvolleybal, tafeltennis, jeu-de-boule en zwembad. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Gezellig restaurant met hele aardige eigenaren die veel organiseren en heel betrokken zijn.

Geweldige houten veranda. Mooie nieuwe stacaravan. Goed uitgeruste keuken. We misten wat spullen maar die werden meteen geleverd na melding bij de receptie. Top! Rustig gelegen met mooie vegetatie eromheen. Genoeg privacy.
Op eerste gezicht leek de stacaravan niet heel groot maar er is veel meer opbergruimte dan je in eerste instantie denkt. Badkamer is ook er mooi en ruim. Enige wat we misten was een handdoek radiator.

Bache terrasse mal installée posant problème par temps de pluie. Manque piscine couverte et chaude ainsi que des paravents pour atténuer le bruit de la route.
