It enjoys a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere, with spacious pitches for your tent, motor home, or caravan. Within easy reach of many famous attractions, such as the beautiful villages of St Cirq Lapopie, Rocamadour, Conques, etc., as well as opportunities for fishing, swimming, horse riding, water skiing, canoeing, boating, walking, caving, cycling, tennis, ro... ck-climbing, hang-gliding, or simply relaxing and enjoying the idyllic surroundings

The location is perfect to go hiking and do small car trips in the area, to explore the Lot area with all its riches. The campsite is clean and the plots are spacious. Also it is run by the friendliest people i met during this holiday. Steve and Cheryl you're doing a great job. I loved every minute of my stay and if I will be in the area again I will certainly return.

A smashing tent and the location, at the end of the campsite, was perfect. A double bed, electricity and storage space for clothes, etc. Together with the kitchen tent next to it, fridge, water cooker and gas stove, everything is there to have a relaxing and comfortable vacation.

Beautiful site. So quiet, so much space, lovely natural wild environment. Waking up to a dawn chorus and much birdsong throughout the day!! Our most favourite site ever. The hosts were so helpful and really friendly. The surrounding area in the Lot valley was beautiful and not a lot of traffic. You can catch a bus to Cahors or Figeac if you don’t want to take your car. 10/10.

Camping Ruisseau du Treil is a small and pieceful camping. The owners, Steve and Cheryl, are very friendly and warm, and make sure your stay is perfect.

Very large spaces, some with shade, some more sunny. The facilities for showering, toilets and the spaces for dishes are clean. Every morning you can get fresh bread and pastries, which you can order the day before. The camping is beautiful situated and in the surrounding area there are a lot of lovely places to visit. A supermarket is only on a 25 minutes drive.

We had a warm welcome from Cheryl and Steve who run this really nice site. It is only a few minutes stroll to the River Lot and to Larnagol village - which has a cafe but no shops. The attractive town of Cajarc is about 10 minutes drive away and has a good range of local shops, a supermarket and petrol station as well as restaurants and a waterfront along the Lot.. We enjoyed a number of walks in the area, visiting picturesque villages, finding local eateries, and also canoeing down a section of the Lot.

The pitches are all large and well shaded. The facilities are very good and very clean. The swimming pool is another bonus.

Lighting system within toilet and shower rooms need updating rapidly. Decor dated but functional. Would be better for more water points around site especially for contained motorhome and caravans that have everything on board ie showers etc
